Cookie Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies and similar technologies that may be used on AdResize, and how to control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
The short version
- The resizer itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- Cookies come only from advertising provided by Google, and from the consent message that records your choice.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, advertising cookies are set only if you agree.
Strictly necessary
These are needed to remember your privacy choice, so they do not require consent.
- FCCDCF, FCNEC (Google consent message): store whether you accepted or refused cookies, so you are not asked on every page. Up to 13 months.
Advertising
Set by Google AdSense, and by Google's advertising partners, where ads are shown and, where the law requires it, only with your consent.
- __gads, __gpi, __eoi (set on this site by Google): recognise your browser to choose ads, limit how often an ad is shown and measure ad performance. Up to 13 months.
- IDE, test_cookie (set by doubleclick.net, a Google service): used to show and measure ads across websites that use Google advertising, and to check that your browser accepts cookies. Up to 13 months in Europe and up to 24 months elsewhere.
- Other vendors: advertisers and ad technology companies that work with Google may set their own cookies when their ads are shown. The consent message lists these vendors and lets you choose among them.
If you refuse advertising cookies you may still see ads. They will be based on the page you are viewing and your general location, not on your browsing history.
How to change your choice
- Reopen the consent message and change your selection.
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The tool keeps working without them.
- Turn off personalised ads from Google at Google Ads Settings, or from many ad companies at once at youronlinechoices.eu (Europe) or aboutads.info (United States).
Changes
Cookie names and lifetimes are set by Google and can change. We update this page when we learn of a change. Google's own description is at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
